A faded TV actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles.
Cannot wait to see this movie when it comes out. It was originally scheduled for August 9th 2019 release, however, Sharon Tate's sister was able to convince writer and director Quentin Tarantino to move the date by approximately two weeks in respect for the victims.

I think people in the Manson camp are going to be very disappointed with this movie. It's not really about that. This is just a background/theme for the story of the movie. Meaning it won't be a heavy focus towards that.

Hi I am new to this, and what is the movies name? I watched the Helter Skelter series and I found it intriguing, I then watched Mind Hunter, where while they were busy profiling serial killers(the term was not coined then- only came after) the FBI got to interview Manson for the profiling investigations. It was rather... questionable. They made his character seem a bit, crazy, less lucid, when in actuality - it appears as though he really hits a nerve talking to those FBI agents, it made me wonder if that was how he got to all his "followers". Did he just really have the ability to see through facades? Did he start off with trying to create some truth, and it all just spiraled with a mix of drugs and different personalities. I am not excusing anything he may have done, or been part of, but does beg the question (listening to whatever interviews of his are available) Did he really just want to create a place where everyone was part of something, and things just got out of control? and does it mean that something psychologically triggered in him that had him overlook all reasoning and rationality?
Just something I thought was interesting.

Hello everyone. I just posted a video on YouTube discussing Charles Manson's early years. You can view it here.
